A Franklin County grand jury has indicted an 84-year-old registered sex offender charged last month with sexually abusing a woman at a Frankfort nursing home.
The indictment, which was filed Wednesday, charges Harrison Blankenship of Versailles with first-degree sexual abuse, a Class C felony. The indictment says he "subjected another person to sexual contact who was incapable of consent because she was physically helpless."
Blankenship's arraignment is scheduled for July 31.
Frankfort police received a complaint June 18 from Bradford Square Rehabilitation & Nursing Center on Lawrenceburg Road that a visitor had sexually abused a patient, an 87-year-old woman.
