A family reunion was held Saturday at the Ronald McDonald House in Lexington, complete with a cookout, tours, an appearance by Ronald McDonald and an ice cream buffet. Guests were asked to share their memories of the Ronald McDonald House as part of a video archive project. Since 1984, the Lexington Ronald McDonald House has served as a home away from home for more than 25,000 families from 38 states and nine foreign countries who have had children receiving medical care in local hospitals. The Ronald McDonald House has 20 bedrooms with private baths, laundry facilities, shuttle van service and a kitchen.
