The main pool at the Woodland Aquatic Center is expected to reopen between noon and 1 p.m. Tuesday.
The pool, recognizable because of its pirate ship play area, was closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday after the pump went bad, said Jerry Hancock, director of the division of Parks and Recreation.
Hancock said a new pump was installed Monday. The pump will be turned on early Tuesday morning, but it will take several hours for the water in the pool to be filtered, chlorinated and recirculated, Hancock said.
The diving well and lap pool have remained open at half the regular price since the main pool was closed.
