A school crossing guard was struck by a truck Wednesday afternoon while directing traffic at Lexington's Jessie Clark Middle School, officials said.
The woman was taken to Saint Joseph Hospital by ambulance, but police said she did not appear to be seriously hurt.
The incident occurred as cars and buses were leaving the school on Clays Mill Road at the end of classes.
No children were involved in the incident.

According to police, the driver of the truck said he didn't see the crossing guard. The driver will not be charged.
