A man was taken to the University of Kentucky Hospital on Tuesday night after being stabbed at the Catholic Action Center.
The victim, whom police did not identify, suffered multiple stab wounds from what was thought to have been a pocket knife.
"His injuries may be life-threatening," said police Sgt. Brian Wallace.
A second man suffered a minor cut to his hand and was treated at the scene.
Wallace said the incident happened about 6:45 p.m. just inside the front door of the center, at 400 East Fifth Street. Wallace said police were looking for the person they thought did the stabbing.
