Paris police are looking for two men who broke into Bud's Gun Shop in Paris early Monday and took some guns.
Paris police Lt. Jeff Lizer said the burglars got "a few firearms," but probably not as many as they would have liked.
"The alarm scared them off," he said. "Apparently we just missed them."
Lizer would not say exactly how many or what kind of guns were taken.
Never miss a local story.
He said the two men were caught on video cutting the store's phone lines at about 9:30 p.m. Sunday, then they apparently came back at about 1:30 a.m. and broke in.
The video showed them leaving in a white older-model four-door sedan with a sunroof.
Lizer said police have a suspect and are continuing to develop leads.
A Bud's employee declined to comment.
