Lexington police were searching Thursday for a man who robbed PNC Bank on Woodhill Drive Wednesday afternoon.
Just before 4 p.m., the robber entered the bank and gave a teller a note demanding money. No weapon was seen, but the man kept one hand behind a black bag he was carrying, according to a news release from Lexington police.
He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. Several employees were present during the robbery, but no one was injured.
The suspect was described as a 6-foot-1-inch white male in his 50s or 60s. He is estimated to weigh about 240 pounds. He was last seen wearing thick glasses, a dark short-sleeve shirt, blue jeans and a dark baseball cap.

It was Lexington's first bank robbery of 2010, police said.
