Two Scott County juveniles have been charged with arson in a fire that destroyed a county-owned storage building in March.
The wooden building was owned by Scott County Fiscal Court and was used to store equipment for the Georgetown/Scott County Youth Soccer Association. The building and its contents were destroyed, with damage estimated to be around $8,000.
Investigation by state police and the Scott County Fire Department led to the charges of second-degree arson and third-degree burglary against the two juveniles who police say set the fire.
Police have not named the suspects because of their ages.
