Kentucky State Police think alcohol might have been a factor in a head-on collision Thursday in which an Eastern Kentucky man died.
Paul D. Lemaster, 41, was driving a 1994 Toyota pickup truck south on Ky. 207 in Greenup County about 5 p.m. when the pickup crossed the center line and struck a northbound 1993 Buick, according to a news release. The release said Lemaster had been drinking.
The driver of the Buick, Linda Huffman, 63, was taken by ambulance to Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital. Huffman and Lemaster are both from Greenup County.
Lemaster, who was not wearing a seat belt, died at the scene. State police said Huffman was wearing a seat belt.
