Police are searching for a robbery suspect who escaped custody in London.
About 2:16 p.m. Wednesday, Michael Sams, 20, was arrested and charged with fleeing and evading police, resisting arrest and providing a false name and address. He was stopped on Ky. 80 in London by Greg Reams, a commercial vehicle enforcement officer, who used his Taser.
While Sams was being processed at the London Kentucky State Police post, he ran from the building about 4:10 a.m.
Sams had outstanding warrants for robbery and a bench warrant for failure to appear on traffic-related charges in Pulaski County.

A Somerset resident, Sams is described as a white male with black hair, 5-foot-10 and 170 pounds.
