The Fayette County coroner's office is looking for friends or relatives of Gregory Lawrence Williams, who died Tuesday at an apartment at 431 East Sixth Street.
Williams, 57, died of natural causes. He was described as a white or Native American man, about 6-feet tall and 190 pounds with gray hair and hazel eyes. Williams, a Vietnam War era veteran who did odd jobs at the apartment complex where he was found, once lived at St. James Place in Lexington. He also had spent time in New York and Illinois. Williams was a widower. He had an aunt, Juanita Williams, who lived in Lexington, and two grown sons in New York, according to the coroner's office.
