A Fayette Circuit Court jury has recommended a 10-year prison sentence for Kimiko Ogle, accused of causing the death of another man in September 2009 while driving the wrong way on Lane Allen and Harrodsburg roads.
The jury found Ogle guilty of second-degree manslaughter on Tuesday.
On Sept. 11, 2009, a vehicle driven by Brian D. Yanko, 49, was hit head-on by a vehicle driven by Ogle, 29. Ogle's blood alcohol level was .24, according to court records. Adult drivers with levels of .08 or higher are considered intoxicated under state law.
Yanko died of his injuries on Sept. 16, 2009.
