A Boyle County woman was in critical condition at the University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital after her SUV rolled nine times.
Danielle Combs, 23, of Junction City, was involved in a single-car accident at the intersection of Old Stanford Road and the U.S. 150 Bypass in Boyle County on Wednesday morning.
Combs was driving her sport utility vehicle east on the bypass and was trying to change lanes when she lost control of the vehicle; it went down a grass embankment, then hit a concrete ditch line rolled, Boyle County Sheriff Marty Elliot said.
Combs was not wearing a seat belt and appeared to have been ejected through the sunroof, Elliot said.
Never miss a local story.
Elliot said the wetness of the road was the primary factor in the accident.
