This week I have quite the smorgasbord of ways to $ave. I had several ideas in mind and figured it best if I just post them all. So, without further ado, the Ways to $ave Wednesday list (complete with bullets).
* This week Meijer is having a great 10 for $10 sale (get the 11th item free!). The majority of the items involved in this sale are Meijer brand items from fruit snacks to apple sauce to pizza crust. The pizza crust alone is enough to make me want to head on over and stock up. You can not find canned pizza crust for only $1 (be sure to check the expiration dates though, I've experienced that problem a time or two). You can check out all the deals here. Good Luck stocking up, you better hurry before they run out!
* Chick-fil-a on Nicholasville Rd (in front of K-Mart) is having free activities for toddlers 2-4 years old on Mondays from 9:30a.m.-10:30a.m. following the Fayette county school schedule (if school is not in session, there will not be toddler time). This includes Bible lessons, crafts, games and supervised time to play in the playland. This is conducted by a Chick-fil-a employee. Parents need to stay onsite, but don't necessarily have to be present in the playland area during the activities. This is a great way to get some Mommy time by yourself or with friends and to allow your children a fun, free activity.
* I hate throwing away coupons when they expire. Yesterday, I signed up for Coupons for Troops. Military overseas often have excessive expenses as the cost of items in commissaries are much more expensive than here. We can help since the overseas military are able to use expired coupons up to six months beyond their expiration at commissaries. Check out this program and sign up if you are interested in sending your expired (or even non-expired) coupons to those who may be able to use them.
* In recent weeks I have discovered some new deal websites. I am quite a creature of habit, but I have been lurking outside my comfort zone and checking out some new places out there in the blogosphere. Here are a few of my favorites for you to check out as well, if you so desire. The Frugal Girls, Southern Savers, and Faithful Provisions
And be sure to come back next week for a giveaway and I think you will all LOVE it!
