A trial date has been set for a man accused of killing a former co-worker inside Leestown Middle School this summer.
Brian Allen McGuire, 27, of Lexington is scheduled to go to trial Nov. 1, 2010 in the death in June of José Daniel Donato, a fellow custodian. Donato, 38, was shot multiple times and died at the scene. A grand jury indicted McGuire on charges of murder and unlawful possession of a weapon on school property. McGuire is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 29 for a motion hearing.
