Rowan arts center seeks artists

The Rowan County Arts Promotion Federation is seeking artists in all disciplines to participate in Fuse the Muse, a collaborative art project.

A press release from the federation said, "The goal is to produce a series of multimedia events over the next two years at the Rowan County Arts Center, where the combined efforts will be showcased. Visual arts will be exhibited in our galleries, musical creations performed, stories told, poetry read, plays presented, perhaps even dances performed. Publishing a magazine or book, CDs and DVDs of the results are our goals as well."

There will be an informational meeting noon to 2 p.m. Nov. 21 at the Rowan County Arts Center, 205 East Main Street, Morehead. Project proposals are due Jan. 4. For more information, call Rhonda Bailey at (606) 207-2007.
