At first blush, Wait Until Dark is an audience-pleasing little thriller with a twist at the end. It also has good name recognition, having been made into a hit 1967 movie starring Audrey Hepburn.

In almost any opera, University of Kentucky costumer Susan Dudley Wigglesworth will have to create looks for at least one iconic character. For this weekend's production of Johann Strauss II's Die Fledermaus, she's creating a who's who of opera icons.

UK Opera recording its next show

Die Fledermaus, which is UK’s current production, will be recorded after spring break and released later this year, according to a note from UK Opera Theatre director Everett McCorvey to the group’s supporters.
