Actress Melissa Joan Hart, best known as the former star of “Sabrina the Teenage Witch,” posted a three-sentence love story on Instagram on Valentine’s Day about her husband, musician Mark Wilkerson.
The two met at a 2003 Kentucky Derby Mint Jubilee cancer fund-raiser. Hart told People magazine that “it was love at first sight.”
The pair married in Italy in 2003, and are now parents to three boys — Mason, born in 2006; Braydon, in 2008; and Tucker, in 2012. They now live in Connecticut.
Wilkerson co-wrote the song “It’s Not Over,” which was recorded by Daughtry.
Hart, 41, said in her #3sentencelovestory post that “a girl from New York told her mother she met a boy from Alabama at the Kentucky Derby that she was going to marry.”
The post ended with the pair and their two sons moving from Los Angeles, “to the east coast where they added a third boy to their loving family in 2012 and lived happily ever after!”
