Havana Nights are coming to Brasabana, 841 Lane Allen Road, on Monday, July 6 and Aug. 3. The restaurant will have the music of Cuba, salsa dancing demonstrations by Kentucky Ballet Theatre, half-price appetizers all night and special drinks, including the Havana Heat: 2 ounces of grapefruit-jalapeño infused Svedka vodka, 1 ounce habanero-infused simple syrup and 1 ounce Kiefer's blend sweet-and-sour mix, served over ice with slivered jalapeño and sliced habanero peppers. ■ A new chicken restaurant has opened on North Lime: Krispy Krunchy Chicken, 600 N. Limestone, right on the corner of Sixth Street, opened about three weeks ago with flavor-infused Tyson's chicken, said spokesman Harry Dennery. "There's flavor in every bite. That's what makes the difference. It's a Cajun flavor, not a Cajun spice. It's not hot, but it's not bland," he said. Another popular item, the honey butter biscuits, "are like crack," they're so addictive, he said.
■ Pioneer Playhouse, 840 Stanford Rd. in Danville, is kicking off its 66th season with Lewis Black's One Slight Hitch, opening Friday.
