Emma McKinstry, founder of emma mckinstry jewelry, has moved to Lexington. The 28-year-old graduate of Sewanee moved over the July Fourth weekend with her husband, Coley, who grew up in the area.
She started her company in New York in 2012.
"Everything is my design," said McKinstry, who works with a manufacturer in Providence, R.I., and then adds resin and Swarovski elements by hand, here in Lexington.
Pieces available at Emmamckinstry.com have been featured in Us Weekly, InStyle and New York Magazine's The Cut.
