Actress Melissa McCarthy has launched her first clothing line, called Melissa McCarthy Seven7.
The inspiration for the collection, featuring women's regular and plus-size clothing, came from her own experiences, McCarthy said in a news release.
The actress, who has had an interest in fashion design since childhood, found that once she was above a size 12, options were limited when she shopped for clothes.
Pieces include pencil skirts, jeans, duster cardigans and leggings. Plus sizes range from 14 to 28 in bottoms and 1X to 4X in tops. Regular sizes range from 4 to 16 in bottoms and small to large tops.
Prices range from $54 to $169. Retailers rolling out the styles through Sept. 1 include Macy's, Nordstrom.com, Belk, HSN, Bloomingdales, Von Maur, Lane Bryant, Melissamccarthy.com.
