Lots of restaurants will be celebrating the new year all weekend. Here are some of them.

■ The Dish, 438 South Ashland Avenue, will begin New Year's festivities on Friday and Saturday. Owner Trish Tungate said the restaurant will offer a sneak peak at the 2013 winter menu created by new chef David Schmidt. All items will be a la carte for the weekend and range from $9 to $25.
A prix fixe menu will be served New Year's Eve featuring a three-course meal and a glass of Champagne. Prices range from $36 to $70. Call (859) 576-0196 or go to Thedishlex.com.
■ The Julep Cup, 111 Woodland Avenue, is celebrating New Year's Eve with entertainment by Phil Copeland and Friends. Cost is $75. Call (859) 226-0300.
■ Alfalfa Restaurant, 141 East Main Street, will serve brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. New Year's Day. There will be pancake and omelet specials in addition to the regular menu. Alfalfa has new T-shirts with logos designed by Lexington artist John Lackey. Call (859) 253-0014.
■ Natasha's Bistro, 112 Esplanade, will offer three choices for New Year's Eve celebrations. From 6 to 10 p.m., the regular menu will be served by candlelight with quiet music by guitarist Sam Pritchard. A seven-course dinner, with seatings at 6 and 8 p.m., will be served in total darkness. A Latin dance party, 10 p.m. to 2 a.m., will feature the sounds of Alondra's Latin Entertainment, Champagne and party favors. Call (859) 259-2754 or go to Beetnik.com.
■ Vue Restaurant and Lounge, on the top floor of the Chase Bank tower, 201 East Main Street, will serve a four-course dinner for $45, which includes admission to the nightclub Level. It's $25 for the nightclub only.
