■ Mellow Mushroom, 503 South Upper Street, has chosen June as the month to give back. "We offered to give a portion of our winnings to a charity if our Powerball ticket won," marketing director Boomer Oyler said. "It did not, but we still wanted to do something since we had a great deal of charities nominated and people were excited about it.
"We've taken these charities and are allowing people to vote for their favorite on our Facebook page. The winning charity will benefit from a large portion of the sales from a new pizza we will put on the menu for the month of June," Oyler said.
The new pizza has an oil and garlic base, topped with thinly sliced meatballs, mozzarella and provolone cheese, mushrooms, onions and a swirl of red sauce after it's baked. Vote at Junecharity.pgtb.me/r005Zs.
