Low-cost breast and cervical cancer screenings will be available 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Lexington-Fayette County Health Department's Public Health Clinic North, 805A Newtown Circle.
Services will be provided on a sliding scale based on income.
The screening event is intended primarily to help women 40 and older who are underinsured or uninsured, and women who have not been screened in more than five years, especially Hispanic and black women. Screenings are available to all women on a regular basis at the health department.
