Early ordering can be key to getting rare or new bulbs for fall planting

It's not quite time to plant bulbs for spring blooms, but it's the right time to get a jump on ordering them. Many new and rare varieties are available only in limited quantities that sell out quickly. Here are some sources for discovering unusual, new, heirloom or simply over-the-top gorgeous bulbs, and for learning some botany and the history of these garden treasures.
