Dunbar senior injured at Florida beach improving, hopes to attend graduation
Travis Gaines, an outfielder and first baseman for the baseball team at Lexington's Paul Laurence Dunbar High School, suffered a spinal cord injury April 2 in a diving accident in Florida. He has been undergoing therapy in Louisville and hopes to attend graduation with his senior class on May 24.
