'SNL' this week? You betcha Tina Fey doesn't know
By FRAZIER MOORE AP Television Writer
It's the question dominating the political scene: When will Tina Fey be back on "Saturday Night Live"?
'Macbeth': Innovative production falls just short of great
From raucous romps of gothic camp to emotionally stark whodunits of haunted intensity, there is no shortage of Halloween fare for this season's theatergoer. Woodford County Theatrical Arts Association is not alone in scaring up audiences this month, but it is the only Central Kentucky theater offering a classical treatment of terror, with its latest production of Shakespeare's Macbeth.Entertainment video
'Thai Garden': The more Thai, the better
GEORGETOWN — Around the Bluegrass, a vast majority of Thai restaurants Americanize their curries, noodles and soups. The result is a hyphenated set of compromises, American-Thai, that eliminate surprise and substitute safety. Financially, that's rational, but gastronomically, some diners want more.
Young artists get time in the spotlight
I know I'm not the first to say it, but I love Zac Efron. I love him not for tweeny reasons — I'm kinda past the point of scrawling the High School Musical actor's name on my Trapper Keeper — but for what he and other young stars are doing for the rising interest in the arts among America's youth. It's an interest that, for Kentucky, couldn't come at a better time. "Right now, we're looking at the future of the Guild," says Jeannette Rowlett, president of the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen. "A lot of our (artist) members are getting older — new members apply and that's great, but it's important to educate the next generation."

Album review: John Michael Montgomery
The title of John Michael Montgomery's new album could be viewed as a comment on the four years that have passed since the Central Kentucky country hero last issued an album. But the instant the wiry steel guitar licks and brassy bravado on the opening What Did I Do kick the honky-tonk fervor into gear, you sense Montgomery's music has not changed a fraction as much as the marketing behind it.
'Quarantine' a surprisingly effective thriller
Quarantine is a movie testament to craftsmanship and commitment. The best Blair Witch knockoff of them all is basically a zombie movie seen through the viewfinder of a TV news camera, that "found footage" Blair Witch Project conceit.
