Catholic Charities sponsors La Fete du Mai at Ashford Stud
Tickets are on sale for Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Lexington's 33rd annual reverse raffle. Tickets are $150 each and include admission for two to La Fete du Mai, 3 to 7 p.m. June 3 at Ashford Stud Farm, on Frankfort Road in Versailles.

Tom Eblen: Sole surviving Marines' Lexington Platoon member to be honored
The U.S. Marines' Lexington Platoon, which formed in August 1942, will be honored Thursday at the Urban County Council meeting. This time, Cecil, 88, will be the only platoon member present. "As best we can tell, I'm the only one left," he said.
