Lexmark on Friday announced that Ying (Vivian) Liu is the company’s new senior vice president and chief financial officer.
Liu was formerly with Huawei Technology, a global information and communications technology solutions provider, where she was vice president of finance.
Liu led a global finance team in support of an $8 billion business serving small and medium-sized businesses and public sector customers.
Before that, Liu spent eight years in finance jobs with Cisco Systems, and earlier, with Deloitte Financial Advisory Services, Goldman Sachs and Deloitte & Touche LLP. She began her career with China Merchants Bank in Shanghai.
Liu holds a bachelor’s degree in international finance from Shanghai University of Finance & Economics and an MBA from the University of Washington in Seattle.
Former Lexmark CEO and president David Reeder had served as chief financial officer before ascending to the top of the company. Reeder resigned in June, citing unspecified personal reasons.
