A new Mexican restaurant is coming to 102 West Vine.
Ipalapa’s Restaurant, which also has a location at 1765 Alexandria Drive, will open in early October, as soon as the beer license is approved, according to owner Sandra Olmedo Pelaez.
The license is expect to be approved around Oct. 7. She said the restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday, and closed on Sunday. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Ipalapa’s will stay open until 3 a.m., she said.
The menu features authentic Mexican food, tacos, tortas on Mexican bread, tamales and introducing more Tex-Mex items, she said.
The Madam Eatery & Juke Joint, which used to be at 102 West Vine, closed earlier this summer and apparently moved into the owner’s Ole Hooker’s bar on Limestone.
