Small businesses and most private non-profit organizations in 15 Kentucky counties are eligible for economic-injury disaster loans to help recover from storms, flooding, landslides and mudslides July 11-20.
The counties are Bath, Boyd, Carroll, Elliott, Fleming, Floyd, Greenup, Henry, Lawrence, Lewis, Magoffin, Martin, Menifee, Morgan and Trimble.
The Small Business Administration offers economic-injury loans to help meet working capital needs caused by the disaster. The loans are available regardless of whether the business suffered any physical property damage.
To be considered for disaster assistance, applicants should register online at www.DisasterAssistance.gov or by any mobile device at m.fema.gov.
