Herald-Leader Staff Report
Thousands of Forcht Bank customers have had their debit cards canceled.
The Kentucky-based company disabled 8,500 debit cards last week after it learned that hackers had compromised data belonging to a company that processes debit-card transactions for merchants.
Customers will be issued new debit cards within a week to 10 days, according to an announcement on the company's Web site.
