The state-sponsored Small Business & Entrepreneurial Connections series kicks off in Barbourville on Thursday.
The free event offers people an opportunity to learn about federal, state and local resources that provide finance, marketing and other services to help small businesses grow.
A panel of entrepreneurs will also answer questions.
The event will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Union College's Frances Patridge Campus Center building at 310 College Street.
Optional one-on-one business funding consultations with various organizations will follow the event from 1 to 2 p.m. A lender workshop for banking institutions will be held in the nearby Edward H. Black Technology Center from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.
