Lexington television stations received nearly 30 nominations Monday for the 45th annual Ohio Valley Regional Emmys.
Of the 219 nominations, Lexington stations received the following:
■ PBS member station KET: 11, which spokesman Tim Bischoff said is a record for the station.
■ NBC affiliate WLEX (Channel 18): Nine.
■ ABC affiliate WTVQ (Channel 36): Five.
■ CBS affiliate WKYT (Channel 27): Three.
Also, the Lexington Public Library received a nomination for historical documentary for its "Our Part: Lexington's Greatest Generation." And WKYU, a Bowling Green-based PBS member station, received four.

The awards will be July 25 at Lexington's Marriott Griffin Gate Resort and Spa. It's the first time that the event will be in Lexington and just the second time that it will be in Kentucky. It previously was in Louisville.
