Eastern Kentucky University: Russell Carpenter has been named the first director of the Noel Studio for Academic Creativity. The studio was established with a $1 million-plus gift from Ron and Sherri Noel of Union. The studio's mission is to serve the academic community as a collaborative, innovative learning experience dedicated to the improvement of communication and research skills.

Christian Care Communities: W. Richard "Rick" Marshall has been promoted to executive vice president in charge of operations and finance for Christian Care's older adult programs and services in Louisville, Lexington, Corbin, Bowling Green, Hopkinsville, Taylorsville and Grayson.
