Central Baptist Hospital has broken ground on its second facility in Brannon Crossing. The expansion of services will include the addition of an urgent care center, magnetic resonance imaging services, expanded mammography service and more. The new building will house Baptist Urgent Care, a no-appointment-necessary facility for the treatment of minor illnesses and injuries. The building will also include multi-specialty clinic space for lease to physicians who wish to expand their practice to Jessamine County, as well as 8,500 square feet set aside for future development of permanent physician office space.
Science Applications International Corp. has opened a new office at 201 Lincoln Trail in Radcliff. The newly renovated facility will house 10 employees who will facilitate staffing and relocation efforts for SAIC personnel tasked with supporting the U.S. Army as it relocates its Human Resources Command to Fort Knox from St. Louis, Mo., and Alexandria, Va. The relocation is expected to be complete in 2010.
