Regional law firms Dinsmore & Shohl of Cincinnati and Woodward, Hobson & Fulton LLP of Louisville announced Friday that they're merging effective Sept. 1.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Woodward, a corporate, litigation, and labor and employment law practice, has 54 attorneys. With its addition, Dinsmore & Shohl will have more than 450 attorneys in Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
The company said in a news release that Woodward's addition brings "additional strengths in a number of core areas including corporate law, products liability, tort, and labor and employment law."
"One of the firm's strategic goals is to keep pace with continued client growth in the Midwest, and this is certainly another step in the right direction," George Vincent, managing partner of Dinsmore and Shohl, said in a statement.
