Lexington's Croney & Clark Inc., which provides social services and behavioral health care to children and their families, has been acquired by a Kansas company. KVC Behavioral Health Systems Inc., based in Olathe, Kan., announced the purchase this week. Financial terms were not disclosed.
KVC operates in Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri, Nebraska and West Virginia and serves 20,000 children and their families.
"This new organization will enable us to reach many more children and families while creating new and enduring community partnerships across the state," Elizabeth Croney, co-founder of Croney & Clark and now president of KVC Behavioral HealthCare — Kentucky, said in a statement.
