Insight Communications, Lexington's cable provider, announced first-quarter earnings this week that included year-over-year revenue growth in all of its products.
Revenue was $261.4 million, up 10 percent compared to the same period a year ago.
The highest component of that was basic cable revenue, which was $98.4 million, up from $93.7 million a year ago. Next was high-speed Internet service, which accounted for $62.4 million, up from $53.1 million.
Telephone revenue was $41.7 million, up from $35.2 million, and digital cable revenue was $33.9 million, up from $31 million.
The company also saw growth in its advertising and other revenue categories.
Average monthly revenue from a basic customer was $121.13 in the quarter, up from $110.17 a year earlier.
