A molecular diagnostics company that is moving to Northern Kentucky from Ohio will receive as much as $100,000 in state funding, Gov. Steve Beshear and Economic Development Secretary Larry Hayes announced Thursday.
Ischemia Care LLC is focused on developing a blood test that can more easily diagnose strokes and mini-strokes, leading to more timely diagnosis and treatment.
The funding was approved Thursday by the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority. Ischemia Care anticipates creating seven new high-tech jobs paying an average salary of $60,000.
