Louisville's 21c Museum Hotel has been voted the best hotel in the country for a second straight year in the Condé Nast Traveler magazine's Readers' Choice Awards. Readers also again voted it sixth-best in the world, and it's the only U.S. hotel in the top 10, the hotel said in a news release. More than 25,000 readers voted.
The award rankings are based on factors including room quality and overall design.
The hotel, which opened in 2006, features 9,000 square feet of art exhibition space in addition to artworks visible throughout the hotel.
The company plans to open additional 21c Museum Hotels in Bentonville, Ark., and Cincinnati, with construction to begin soon on both. In the next three to five years, there are plans to build 15 total.
