The University of Kentucky's College of Agriculture will present its annual economic forecast and 2010 look-back on Dec. 2 at the 91st Kentucky Farm Bureau convention in Louisville.
In 2009, the first year that poultry topped the state's agricultural rankings, the economists predicted cash receipts in the range of $4.1 billion to $4.5 billion for 2010.
UK's economic presentation will be at 10 a.m. at the Galt House Hotel. Farm Bureau opens the convention with special-interest conferences that begin at 8:30 a.m. and continue into the afternoon on Thursday.
Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., is invited to address the Farm Bureau's general session on Friday morning, with discussion and adoption of policy resolutions in the afternoon.
