Transylvania University: Kirk Purdom has been named vice president for advancement. Purdom comes to Transylvania from Kentucky Wesleyan College, where he has served as vice president of advancement since 2008.
Crowe Horwath: Joseph Tucker has been named a senior staff member in the tax group in the firm's Lexington office.
Traditional Bank: Tim Schuler has been named vice president and commercial loan officer in the bank's Lexington lending team.
Fayette County Bar Foundation: Jennifer S. Smart, a member in the law firm of Greenebaum Doll & McDonald, has been named to a two-year term on the foundation's board of directors.
Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority: Dorsey Hall, president of South Central Bancshares of Kentucky, has been appointed to the KEDFA board through March 2014.
American Cancer Society: Krista Greathouse has been named executive director for the Lexington area.
Crown Services: Jeff Haselwood has joined the company and will manage all clerical, medical and industrial staffing divisions in Lexington, Paris, Georgetown, Versailles, Frankfort and Nicholasville.
DMD Data Systems: Evan Hilde bran, a senior systems engineer, has joined the company. Marshall Butler has been promoted to vice president of sales.
