Service station company Sunoco will soon have a location in Lexington again.
Georgia's Service Center, a former Chevron station on Nicholasville Road near Regency Center, will change to Sunoco on May 23, said owner Georgia B. Clemons.
Clemons had elected to go unbranded after Chevron pulled out of Kentucky and other states in 2010, but she said her customers convinced her to change.
"They all want a major gasoline credit card for the simple reason that they like to separate the gasoline from their other bills," she said.
Never miss a local story.
Clemons said Sunoco approached her, as the company is looking to expand in Kentucky.
A Sunoco representative could not be reached Friday.
