The asking price of an average four-bedroom, two-bathroom house in Kentucky is $198,881, according to data recently released by real estate firm Coldwell Banker. The data come from homes listed on Coldwellbanker.com from September through 2011.
Nationally, the average was $293,251, based on data from 2,300 North American markets.
The survey reviewed 27 markets in Kentucky and proclaimed Somerset as the most affordable at $151,015 and La Grange as the most expensive at $269,398. Lexington was fourth at $230,942.
