Women Leading Kentucky will begin its Winter Roundtable Series on Jan. 17. The theme this year is Couples Making a Difference in the Bluegrass. The first roundtable networking luncheon will feature University of Kentucky President Eli Capilouto and Mary Lynne Capilouto, who will speak about their work and their recent move from the University of Alabama- Birmingham to UK. All roundtables begin at noon at Sal's Chophouse, 3373 Tates Creek Road. Networking and registration begin at 11:30 a.m. The cost is $35 per session, or $100 for the series of three. The American Advertising Federation Lexington has issued a call for entries for the 2011-12 AAF Lexington ADDY Awards competition. All entries must be received by 5:30 p.m. Jan. 12 at the Lexington Herald-Leader, 100 Midland Avenue. Entry fees are $65 for AAF Lexington members and $95 for non-members.
