Lexington's GoodGiving Guide Challenge is wrapping up its inaugural campaign.
The effort, launched Oct. 27, will conclude Saturday night just before the New Year begins.
Goals of the project, announced in October by the Blue Grass Community Foundation and Smiley Pete Publishing, were to raise $100,000, attract new donors and volunteers, and provide publicity and exposure for a variety of non-profits.
As of Thursday morning, the amount raised totaled $142,476 from 1,818 gifts.
Real-time results for each of the 58 participating local non-profits can be tracked at Goodgivingguide.net.
All of the money donated, minus any credit card or bank processing fees, will go directly to the designated charities. Donors are eligible for coupons and other prizes based on the amount of their donations.
