Commerce Lexington is accepting applications for its Leadership Lexington program, which aims to help educate future community leaders.
The 11-month program includes monthly classes covering topics such as government, education, media, economic development and public safety. Class members also participate in community projects. Since 1979, the program has had more than 1,200 graduates.
Completed applications are to be submitted by May 16. Applicants must be employed by firms that are active members of Commerce Lexington, unless the employer is a charity. Non-employed community volunteers also may apply. To learn more, go to Leadershiplexington.com.
