■ Radio Eye, Kentucky's only radio reading and information service for the visually impaired or physically disabled, has announced a partnership with KY NFB-NEWSLINE, the only state and national telephone reading service for the blind and print-impaired.
Through this partnership, Radio Eye's 24-hour broadcast will be available to KY NFB-NEWSLINE's 2,000 currently registered and approximate 300,000 eligible subscribers across the state. The collaboration also opens the KY NFB-NEWSLINE and Radio Eye venue for access through the free iPhone Newsline App.
■ SweetJack, a daily deals platform powered by radio promotion, is now available in Lexington. By the end of 2012 more than 1,400 Cumulus and Clear Channel radio stations nationwide will feature SweetJack deals throughout the day.
SweetJack offers local deals from area restaurants, shops, salons and performance venues with savings of up to 90 percent. SweetJack deals are accessible by email, the Web site SweetJack.com and apps for iPhone and Android.
