PremierTox 2.0 Inc. is expanding operations in Lexington, adding 25 jobs, according to an announcement by Gov. Steve Beshear's office.
The drug-screening firm will invest $250,000 for equipment and updates at its 10,000-square-foot lab.
PremierTox, established in Russell Springs in 2010, now provides drug testing in seven states.
"As a Kentucky business hiring Kentucky residents, PremierTox helps the commonwealth through job creation. PremierTox also is proud to be at the forefront of the war on drugs," CEO Eric Duncan said.
The Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority has given preliminary approval for tax incentives of as much as $200,000 if PremierTox meets job and investment targets.
